Google's efforts with Chrome to encourage the web's transition to HTTPS are beginning to pay off. Chrome windows 8 1 32 bit. The company has now announced plans to extend the effort with the 'Not secure' badge scheduled to show up on more HTTP pages.
With version 56 in January, Chrome began marking HTTP sites with password or credit card fields as 'Not secure' in the address bar. As a result, Google noted a 23% reduction in the fraction of navigations to HTTP pages with password or credit card forms on desktop.
Google is now extending the warning to any HTTP site where user data is entered. Notably, the badge will not appear in the address bar until users begin entering information into a field.
Passwords and credit cards are not the only types of data that should be private. Any type of data that users type into websites should not be accessible to others on the network, so starting in version 62 Chrome will show the 'Not secure' warning when users type data into HTTP sites.
Additionally, the blog post notes that as users have an increased expectation of privacy in Incognito, the Not secure badge will be present when visiting any HTTP site in that mode. These changes will rollout with Chrome 62 in October.
Google's end goal is to show a 'Not secure' warning for all HTTP pages and encourage the adoption of more secure pages. The company notes the transition is easier and cheaper than ever, while also allowing for more functionality.

Google Chrome 61: Web Share API
The Web Share API which has been introduced with this update to the Google Chrome browser allows native sharing features from the browser itself. In the past this was not supported by the browser. Users can now share images and videos on web pages directly from the browser. As per developers, the plan is to allow the sharing of web apps as well.
The WebUSB API which has been introduced with the Google Chrome 61 update allows websites and web apps to communicate with complex USB devices. While the browser has always supported basic USB peripherals such as Keyboard, Printers, etc. this will allow the browser to interact with devices such as those used for educational and scientific purposes.
Let us take a look at how to update your browser to the latest version:
Step 1: To update your Google Chrome browser to the latest version go to the customize and control menu which is located in the extreme right corner of the screen, represented by three dots.
Step 2: Towards the bottom of the list you would find ‘Help', tap on that.
Step 3: In the sub-menu that emerges from ‘Help', click on ‘About Google Chrome'
Step 4: Google Chrome will take you to the About page. Here you will be able to see what version of Chrome you are using. If you are not on the latest version an update would automatically start and upgrade your browser to Google Chrome 61.

As noted in the above video, installing Chrome on your Kindle Fire is pretty easy. Just use the Silk browser on your Kindle Fire and go to https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/chrome/chrome-62-0-3202-84-release/
There, download the version of the Chrome that matches the version of Android on your tablet. After that, click the downloaded file name to install.
When the install is complete, Chrome will be on your Kindle Fire. If you have a Google account, you can log into the Chrome browser on your Fire, and all your saved bookmarks and logins will show up.
